Fieldwork is a full-service market research company that provides a wide range of research services to businesses and organizations of all sizes. Fieldworks, a market research company based in Irvine, CA, faced a major challenge with its outdated audio and video systems at its Irvine, CA, Office.
The composite video system consisted of multiple cabinets of composite distribution amplifiers and switchers. The audio system was composed of analog microphones with outboard audio preamps/processors and bulky audio amplifiers. This made it increasingly difficult for their staff to operate the systems efficiently.
To solve this problem, AV Planners was brought in to upgrade the audio and video capabilities at Fieldworks' office. AV Planners worked closely with Fieldworks to understand their specific needs and requirements and then designed a custom solution that included a mix of new and existing equipment.
The solution included the installation of advanced Vaddio PTZ cameras, an HD/SDI video router, and SmartView Duo monitors for Quality Control monitoring at the front desk. These state-of-the-art components ensured clear and crisp video and allowed multiple rooms to be viewed from various locations throughout the facility. AV Planners upgraded the audio system with a Dante audio over an IP network infrastructure, including beamforming ceiling tile mic arrays and network-connected audio amplifiers.
AV Planners also used existing volume controllers and speakers in the viewing rooms to save costs.
The AV Planners team completed the installation on time and within budget, and Fieldworks was highly pleased with the new system. The upgrade provided clear and crisp audio and video, allowing for more flexibility and control over their AV system. The AV design/build exceeded the company's expectations and has been a valuable asset to their research operations.
