Adventist Health White Memorial Conference Room AV Integration
Adventist Health White Memorial partnered with AV Planners to upgrade the main conference room at its Los Angeles hospital with an integrated audiovisual conferencing system designed for meetings, training and remote collaboration.
The project combined large-format displays, multiple conferencing cameras, beamforming ceiling microphones, wireless microphones, distributed ceiling audio, AV networking and touchscreen control into a single room system.
Large-Format Video & Conferencing System
AV Planners designed and installed a turnkey conferencing system centered around two 98-inch front displays for presentations and video meetings. Three PTZ conferencing cameras provided multiple room views, including gallery and presenter coverage, while the hospital’s room PC was integrated for conferencing and presentation use.
Beamforming Microphones, Distributed Audio & Touchscreen Control
For room audio, AV Planners integrated two beamforming ceiling microphone arrays along with wireless handheld and lavalier microphones. Sixteen 6.5-inch ceiling speakers provided distributed sound throughout the conference room, supported by commercial DSP, networked amplification and a dedicated 24-port AV network switch.
A 10-inch wall-mounted touchscreen gave staff centralized control of the room’s AV functions, simplifying everyday operation.
The Result
The completed conference room brings video, microphone coverage, distributed audio, conferencing and room control into one integrated AV environment. The system supports the hospital’s meetings, training sessions and remote collaboration while giving staff a consistent interface for operating the room.
This project also reflects AV Planners’ experience delivering commercial AV systems for healthcare organizations in Los Angeles and Southern California.
