Devio is THE collaboration tool for corporate huddle spaces. It brings simple connectivity to all the technology in the room. Powerful features like acoustic echo cancellation, automatic gain control
and beam-forming microphone technology allow everyone in the room to be heard. And now, Biamp has taken that beam-forming technology and delivered it in a ceiling mounted version. This frees
up valuable table space for huddle rooms without giving up any of the great features of Devio, including:
- 360-degree coverage of the meeting space with the DTM-1 tabletop microphone or the DCM-1 ceiling microphone
- Simple connectivity via USB cable from a laptop to Devio
- Automatic room setup for fast deployment and great audio
- Connectivity for up to two displays via USB with DisplayLink USB graphics technology
- Remote monitoring and management capabilities
Today also marks the availability of version 1.1 releases of the Devio System Administration Utility (SAU) and Devio CR-1 firmware, which include improvements like:
- Enhanced support for networking security
- Usability improvements
- Microphone EQ options
- Support for the DCM-1 ceiling microphone
Devio is available in two bundled options — the CR-1T, which includes the CR-1 conferencing room device and the beam-forming tabletop microphone, or the CR-1C, which includes the CR-1 and beam-forming ceiling mounted microphone. Both are covered by Biamp’s two-year warranty.
