Digital wallpaper?

Digital wallpaper. The idea alone is enough to get anyone’s mind going on the application possibilities, and guess what, it’s already here! LG recently revealed a OLED TV that is so thin, it’s simply placed on a wall using magnets.

But why would anyone need it?

Imagine putting up an entire digital wall, taking it down in an instant and rolling it up when it’s not in use or to perhaps change the location, just release the magnets and pop it up on another wall. For aesthetic purposes, your office or workspace doesn’t have to commit to a certain set up, and because you can subtract or add, choosing a specific size is virtually limitless.

OLEDs use less power and can be brighter and crisper than say LEDs or LCDs used today, and LG has taken this technology to the next level with this flexible screen.

It’s ideal for displays, like the window displays in a store or inside. Imagine the possibilities when displays are just as flexible as ever changing as the latest trend.

OLED’s light and flexible design has already changed the world of digital signage, in places such as at Incheon International Airport, it’s pushed the limits of design, leaving visitors in awe.

The combination of outcurved and incurved design of the OLED displays such as those in N Seoul Tower, which is an impressive 14 meters long, has created a unique, cutting-edge attraction never before seen.
